What about GDPR / confidentiality working? 

Working in HR, and previously in banking, confidentiality has always been paramount. My terms & conditions document is a two-way contract which does include, and binds us, to a confidentiality clause. Passwords are kept safe using LastPass.

What are Chew Valley VA's turnaround times?

This is negotiable and client / hours worked specific. 

If something is urgent, I will do my best to turn it around within 24 - 48 hours. In some circumstances, I could be available on an evening or weekend if necessary.

What kind of research can you help with?

Anything from price comparisons for all your insurances etc. (home and business), to suppliers and supplies, products and services. I will diarise annual renewals to run in advance for you. All recommendations will be made in a short report saving you time and work.

 

Am I tied in?

I ask you to agree to my T&Cs on acceptance. This doesn't tie you in to a contract for any period but sets out general terms e.g. payment, notice etc.

How do we liaise?

Via Zoom or Teams, email, Todoist or similar and document exchange e.g. Google Drive / One Drive / SharePoint. Though I am happy to use whatever you prefer.

How does payment work?

For monthly packages, A recurring invoice is sent via Invoice Ninja and payment is taken via Go Cardless or Stripe. A breakdown of hours will be sent monthly for your records. Any additional hours worked in a month will be invoiced separately.

For a one off task or project, I ask for 50% upfront.

What happens if I'm not happy with the service?

I would hope that this never happens, but, if it does, please let me know and give me the opportunity to put it right.
